Right, so chinese new year is practically over for me, so here are some pictures to illustrate the the eventfulness this year. That porkish looking person on the left would be me in a really nice shirt whilst the one on the right is my aunt on my dad's side.  The canopy my parents set up due to the torrid weather Malaysia seems to be having nowadays.  The end product of my mother's hard work. Next are the close-up shots of the food!  Ah,nothing beats chrysanthemum tea and Jolly Shandy.  The 'zhai char siew' that I love so much.  Mother's curry never tasted so good.  Hokkien noodles,completely pork fat free.  Porked mixed with vegetables and capsicums.Not exactly the crunchy kind.  These are by far my favourite - chicken deep fried in a light batter.  Clockwise from top:Ketupat rice, piquant vegetables with sour sauce,roast pork and freshly sliced cucumbers.  hoohoohoo look what we have here!Dad got a lion dance troupe to grace our house.  A shot of that silly man character in lion dances,filled with extra silliness.  There's the lion trying to grab a wad of cabbage.  Who knew that lions had five fingered tongues? There were too many people to remember or even recognise so I'll just post the pictures.Of course not all of them are here. Yes I know, I do have a life.       Well, I could definitely say that this year's chinese new year was something else. For one thing keeping myself from overeating was nothing short of a challenge for me but I pulled it off. Props to me! Now I have to ponder how I'm going to go about losing the calories I gained from drinking 4-5 cans of Shandy and Coke Light. Geez... |

Jin loves brownies, cookies and cake. Jin has never been anywhere further than Australia. Jin could never stop being a sadistic, sarcastic meanie. Jin is also the opposite of everything said one line up when the need arises. Jin would rather have a desktop rather than a laptop. Jin has an obsessive, compulsive need to ramble, blabber and regurgitate all manner of nonsense. Jin hates being ignored by the people he loves. Jin hates being alone most of the time. Jin hates reflecting about his actions. It's taxing. Jin has a habit of thinking too much. Jin often doesn't see the glass as half-empty or half-full.He just sees the glass. To some, Jin is weird; to others, Jin is even weirder. Jin wants nothing more than to be happy. Rich would be a big plus though. Jin is pretty tired of referring himself in the third person's perspective. |
